What to Expect

What to Expect

We understand that visiting a new place for the first time can be intimidating. We want your visit to CCNA to be a pleasant experience. With that in mind we have assembled a list of things that our guests most want to know.

When should I arrive?

We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes before the service. This will give you time to park in one of our two lots and get acquainted with our facility. If you are bringing children, we can assist you in finding their appropriate classrooms.

What should I wear?

Come as you are! You won’t see too many ties – most of our church family prefer casual attire. God is much more concerned with our hearts than our clothes.

Where should I park?

We have two parking lots. One is directly behind the church and our second lot is directly across the street from the church. Feel free to park anywhere you like. We have no reserved parking. Handicap parking is in the back lot behind the church.

Is there handicap accessibility?

Handicap parking spaces are available in the lot behind the church with access to a ramp.

Unfortunately we do not have an elevator to access both floors of our building.

If you are attending a service, please be sure to use the back parking lot with the ramp. This will put you on our main floor and access to the sanctuary.
If you are attending an event in our fellowship hall, park in the back lot, come down the parking lot around the side of the church and enter through the lower red double doors on your left.

We have two sets of large, single-unit, men and women restrooms (one set on each floor) equipped with hand railings.

Where do I go when I get there?

If you are attending a service and you park in the lot across the street, you will be facing the main entrance. Cross the street and please use the red double doors at the upper right. This will set you in our lobby, directly in front of the sanctuary. A CCNA greeter will be there to welcome you.
If you are attending a service and you park in the back lot behind the church, please use the ramp that leads to the single red door, this will set you in our lobby, the sanctuary will be on your left. A CCNA greeter will be there to welcome you.

There is a coat rack for your convenience directly at the entrance to the sanctuary.
Please feel free to sit anywhere in the sanctuary, there is no assigned  seating.

If you are attending an event in the Fellowship Hall, it is located on our lower floor.
If you have parked in the lot across the street, you will be facing the main entrance, please use the red double doors at the lower left.
If you have parked in the back lot behind the church, you may use the ramp to the upper floor, once inside turn left and the stairs will immediately be on your right. OR, to enter directly into the Fellowship Hall, walk down the small slope in the parking lot, around the side of the church and enter through the red double doors at the left.

Is there a nursery?

Yes – The nursery is located in the upper main floor. There is a nursery attendant available during the Sunday service.

Must my children attend a class during service?

No – As wee visitors, we understand new faces can be especially frightening. Children are happily welcomed into the sanctuary during the services, as well as into our children’s classrooms. We also understand that some children become very lively during service. So please be gently reminded that we try to be considerate of those who are around us, please feel free to leave the sanctuary to walk your children to our lobby or nursery.

Am I expected to give when the offering plate goes by?

No – As our guest we desire to give you something; not get something from you. The offering plates are passed for the convenience of our CCNA Family.

Will I have to be recognized as a guest at your services?

No – We want you to be relaxed and comfortable without any fear that you may be singled out in some way. There are no name tags or visitor introductions. If you need assistance in anyway, see the Greeters, they are located immediately outside the sanctuary before the services. If you don’t see a Greeter, please stop any one of us and we will be glad to help you in any way!

May I call the church before I visit?

Absolutely! 724.222.8770
